deadxx: love stuff like this , more traditional , and that's not to say i don't like 3d stuff otherwise i wouldn't be on this site. you just don't see too much of this anymore.
Scrubs: I kind of notice the more simply drawn a character is, the more easy it is to draw lots of frames of them to animate it more smoothly. The more realistic they are, the more laborious each frame becomes.
