ekardocard1: @FUCKHEADmanip Nothing unusual? does it apply in general to other animations as well? And with what kind of processor? Sorry i'm curious. :)
FUCKHEADmanip: @ekardocard1: I use DAZ Studio with the Iray render engine. Iray is a physical based renderer, which means it mimics reality. It bounces light off all surfaces just like real world lighting (so much so because light travels endlessly in reality you have to put a limit on it in Iray for it to stop), it has the same setups of photography basically, and it has materal presets. So you can just click on an object and say "I want this to be... water. I want this to be shag carpet. I want this to be really shiny rubber." All I did was select the guys and applied a material that was for diamond, thought they looked better than with the actual ice preset.
The background is a still photo and the snow is an overlay gif that I applied in a video editor. So yeah, nothing unusual. I hope to one day have a better computer that allows a better NVidia card (Iray is NVidia) as that'll speed up my rendering speed very much. Right now it can take me 10-30 hrs on a single half second loop at 720p.
ekardocard1: WOW, thanks man for you time and all. Really interesting. I guess I shall research and study in the little spare time I have. Maybe one day i produce something. Well you inspire me, so thats is going for ya. :) Respect from me to you.
