Rastafarian: @elbatmansfm: Well are you extracting them as a movie from sfm if so its always going to come out dark when you convert to webm the best way is to extacrt it as a image set png then combine them with gimp.

Qwert: @elbatmansfm:
Did you render it in MPEG4 format? If so, that may be the issue.

Rastafarian's suggestion is probably the best.

hellspork: And god forbid someone does a final render in Vegas Pro. Some combinations of software or media container just mesh super badly, like Minecraft defaulting ultra dim low gamma in Fraps output. Heard similar about LoL and other games with assy freemium engines.

elbatmansfm: I was originally going PNG -> WebM when I first switched to using them (the Clayface/catwoman posts), now I go MP4 -> WebM.

The Clayface/Catwoman ones do play perfect. So, you're right in what you're saying.

Odd thing is, they work perfect in VLC (not that this is the most stable player to compare with...) but playback in Firefox is dark. Used to love VLC. It's not so reliable these days.
