oYlihan: If you look into information on the web about this movie you can read that the director of the movie actually had a scene planned in which Leon and Mathilda had sex.

Scrubs: @oYlihan: Yeah, but even the extended version didn't have that. Her parents weren't onboard with it, so he had to rewrite the script. The original story was much darker in a few ways, you can find it here. http://the-professional.uw.hu/Version_1_Script.html

DeWitt1912: @Scrubs: I've read that the director prefers the shorter cut of the movie. The longer cut is usually called the "European edition" as it was re-released in Europe with a longer cut to capitalize on a slow summer movie season.

I still need to watch the extended cut sometime. :) I only have the theatrical cut on DVD.
